Sponsored Walk
On the 24th June the whole of Pringle set off on a 15 mile sponsored walk for the charity, Sign Post International. Each group was allocated a pupil from Fifth Form for support and to keep everyone on the right track! Thanks must also go to all the people who donated and raised money.
Loch Insh
On 26 June 16 eager First Form boys gathered in Pringle Centre for the trip of the year to Loch Insh. Two hours into the journey the group headed to the Highland Wildlife Park. There were many interesting animals to see including the bison, snow monkeys, tigers and camels. After arriving at Loch Insh the group went straight into the first activity, raft building. Many activities followed over the weekend including sailing, canoeing, archery, kayaking and paddling around the loch to see the famous osprey nesting.
Royal Highland Show
On Sunday 28 June some Pringle boys visited the Royal Highland Show. There was lots to see from machinery to ice-cream with lots of animals in between! There were some interesting shows in the main ring, including horse-jumping and the parade of the championship cows as the main event. There was also pole-climbing competitions and music from different styles of bands.
