On Friday 26 June over 140 boys and staff gathered to celebrate the successes of the boys in their sport. During the year the school has participated in over 650 sports fixtures in 16 different sports, although 19 sports were represented at the dinner and just over 91% of the boys have represented the the school in some form of sports fixture or another.
Jason Gardener MBE and 4 x 100m Gold Medalist in the Athens 2004 Olypmics joined the boys and the staff for the meal. After dinner he gave a tremendous presentation on his career and he based many of his words around his trials and tribulations of 2004. During this year he gained many records and titles not least the Olympic Gold Medal whilst battling with all sorts of challenges in the form of injuries. Jason also involved himself in a Question and Answer session where the boys had the opportunity to engage with a top class athlete. The boys certainly learnt alot from his answers.
 At the end of the evening Jason presented three awards to the boys:
The Crerar Quaich for International Ahievement was awarded to James M.
The Mann Shield – team of the year was awarded to the Athletics team (photo right).
The Duncan Watson Memorial Vase for the Sportsman of the Year was awarded to Patrick B.
