On Tuesday 13 January, cameramen and journalists gathered in the Old Library where boys were joined by Frank Hadden to launch a fundraising campaign for the Great Edinburgh Run which will take place on Sunday 3 May. The aim is to raise £10,000 by taking part in the running event for all abilities.

The Mini run is aimed at youngsters aged from 3 to 8 years while the Junior race is for those aged from 9 to 14 and will feature separate girls’ and boys’ contests.
