The boys are returning home or to guardians for half term .We really do think allowing many boys to have time off last week has made a real difference in helping the school to get through this difficult two week period. The number of boys actually ill in school has dwindled now to single figures, but it is clear that for some of those who have fallen sick there has been a relapse a day or two later.

Therefore, whilst we are relieved and pleased that we have been able to nurse the school through to half term, we are hoping that with a 10-day break for all now we can start the second half of term with most of us back to full fitness.  We are again asking parents and guardians for their cooperation in not allowing their son or ward to return if he has shown any of the following symptoms in the 48 hour period leading up to his return, as such symptoms indicate that he in all likelihood is still suffering from the virus:

Lethargy
Nausea
Diarrhoea
Sore throat
Headache
Dizziness
Temperature
