The cricket season has had a mixed start, with the weather playing a role. Beautiful sunshine last week allowed the 1st XI to begin their defence of the Lothian Schools Cup with a win against Stewart's Melville, on one of the finest days of the summer so far. However, on Saturday, the fixture against Edinburgh Academy was abandoned due to rain and thunderstorms! Shown here are Oliver opening the batting against Stewart's Melville, and Carleon on his way to his first century of the season in the same game.
