Charity Cakes

Every Thursday morning, Mrs Wearmouth, Miss Laing and some of the parents prepare cakes and healthy homebakes, which are sold to the boys for 20 pence each.

Last term £170 was raised this way, and the boys chose the Teenage Cancer Trust as the recipient of their fundraising. A cheque for £170 was presented to Mrs Lynne McNicol, representing the Trust: she is pictured here with Andrew and Mrs Pat Wearmouth.

While Thursdays are cakes, Fridays are 'Fruit Fridays' in Pringle, and with this week seeing national 'Fruity Friday', we are holding an extra-special event to raise further money for charity.
