New Tennis Season

The tennis season kicked off over the weekend, with three teams representing the newly formed 'Merchiston Castle Tennis Club'.  The Under 18 team defeated West Lothian Tennis Club 6-0; the Under 16 team beat Hatton Tennis Club 4-2; and the U14 team comprising of all Pringle boys drew with Dunfermline Tennis Club.  The first IV are due to play Heriot's on Thursday in the Second Round of the Scottish Cup.  On Monday evening Stewart Crerar, our Tennis Captain, partnered our Director of Sport Richard Charman playing for Thistle Tennis Club in the first league game in Division 1 East of Scotland Senior League: they drew with Braid Tennis Club.
