This is a busy week for the Library: it is the first 'Bag-a-Book' of the academic year, and boys have been snapping up lots of the books on show. Thursday 4th October is National Poetry Day, www.nationalpoetryday.co.uk and today, Wednesday 3rd October we had a visiting author: GP Taylor www.gptaylor.info. GP Taylor entertained the II Form and staff alike, with his amusing anecdotes and tales of how he uses names to build up characters, as well as his scary stories! Many of the boys had read his book Shadowmancer, and are now looking forward to getting their hands on Mariah Mundi, which was sadly sold out - so they couldn't buy it! GP Taylor did leave them all with some autographed souvenirs as a consolation.
