Laidlaw House opened its doors in January 2009, when both of the Sixth Form years took up residence. In addition to 120 en-suite rooms, there are six resident staff housed within the building.
The House is constructed in two halves: these are linked to each other by a glass fronted bridge which contains common areas for the boys from both sections to meet and relax. There is also a gym in the basement. Each half contains a mixture of boys from both Lower and Upper Sixth, and has its own Housemaster.
