For the last ten years my wife Barbara and our family have been part of this friendly community in its magnificent parkland setting. Every day, as I walk the short distance from our house to my study, I think how lucky we are to be in such surroundings. But it is the people who make this place so special: the boys, their parents, and all of the staff who contribute in so many different ways.
No website can convey more than an impression of the school it represents, so if you are not familiar with Merchiston, I hope you will wish to come and visit us, and I look forward to meeting you.
