Reunion for 1999 leavers

On Saturday 6 June 2009 the School welcomed back 24 leavers from 1999 to celebrate their 10th Reunion.  Most of the group participated in the Touch Rugby Tournament prior to their event in the evening which started with tours of the School, including Laidlaw House.  They then enjoyed a Sparkling Reception in the Old Library where they were joined by staff members Chispa Prini-Garcia, David Turner and Alex Anderson.  Before Dinner the Headmaster welcomed the 1999 leavers and challenged them to sing the first verse and chorus of The School Song which they did with flying colours!

Following Dinner a coach arrived to take the boys into town where they met up with fellow Merchistonians who had taken part in the Touch Rugby.

Special thanks must go to Colin Leslie who helped to organise the event - a great night, enjoyed by all!
