 Jamie Wood (1995) and two friends (Team Name : Polar Warriors/Cold Beef) took part in the Polar Challenge which was a competitive 350 mile team polar race in the arctic to the 1996 location of the magnetic North Pole and beyond.
Polar Challenge 2008 took place in April and May 2008. Teams flew to the Arctic and completed an intense 2 weeks of training before embarking on the Polar Challenge. They skiied 350 miles from Resolute to Isacshen via the 1996 Magnetic North Pole, through 2 checkpoints, with many  adventures along the way. Polar Challenge 2008 was won by Polar Warriors/Cold Beef, with Polar Flame in second and Gamania in third. Many congratulations to Jamie and his team.
